JOB DESCRIPTION
- Position/Title: IT Specialist
- Reports to: Giuseppe Calloni, Chief Executive Officer and Nicole Vitolo, Customer Care / Inside Sales & Logistics Manager
- Annual Salary Compensation: $70,000.00 – $80, 0000.0
- Location: 95 Greene Street, Jersey City, NJ – In office 5 days a week
Position Overview
Join our team as an IT Specialist supporting critical business systems and users in a growing medical device company. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, and office IT equipment
- Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Biometric Fingerprinting
- Assist with user account setup, onboarding, and offboarding, Building IDs setup, etc.
- Help maintain network connectivity, VPN access (laptops outside HQ), and system performance
- Coordinate with external IT vendors / managed service providers for computer/laptop purchases
- Support basic cybersecurity practices (password policies, updates, endpoint protection)
- Assist with data backups and system maintenance
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation
- Support internal systems such as ERP and CRM platforms (Salesforce)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or similar)
- Familiarity with regulated environments (medical device, manufacturing) is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5 years of IT support experience
- Working knowledge of:
- Microsoft 365
- Windows operating systems
- Basic networking (Wi-Fi, VPNs, TCP/IP)
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical & non-technical staff
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred
