Role Overview

Regen Lab is seeking a highly driven, execution-focused Junior Contracting Specialist to support the Chief Commercial Officer – Orthopedics in aggressively expanding facility access across GPOs, IDNs, ASCs, and large physician practices.

This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role operating directly under the leadership and strategic direction of the CCO – Orthopedics. The CCO defines commercial strategy, priorities, and market approach. This role is responsible for driving disciplined, relentless execution against that strategy. This is not an administrative position.

It is a hunter-driven contracting role focused on breaking into accounts, driving inclusion in contract bids, and executing a full-court press strategy to maximize facility contracts in 2026. Candidates must have direct orthopedics or biologics contracting experience. Those without relevant contracting exposure will not be considered.

Non-Negotiable Experience Requirements

  • 1–2 years of direct contracting experience in orthopedics or biologics (required)
  • Hands-on experience with hospital GPO contracting (e.g., Vizient, Premier, HealthTrust, regional GPOs)
  • Experience working with IDNs, regional health systems, ASCs, or large physician groups
  • Direct involvement in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, tiering, renewals, or amendments
  • Experience navigating hospital value analysis committees (VAC / VAT)
  • Proven ability to independently identify and engage key decision-makers within hospital systems
  • Must already understand contracting mechanics and hospital access pathways; step-by-step instruction will not be provided

Strategic Alignment & Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer – Orthopedics
  • Executes all contracting initiatives under the direction of the CCO
  • Commercial strategy, prioritization, and expansion targets are defined by the CCO
  • Responsible for translating that strategy into disciplined, hands-on execution
  • Expected to operate autonomously within defined direction
  • Must contribute informed opinions, real-time market feedback, and tactical recommendations
  • Acts as an execution partner to the CCO — not a passive administrator and not an independent strategist

Key Responsibilities:

Contracting & Market Adoption

  • Execute and support all GPO, IDN, ASC, and large physician practice contracts
  • Drive contract submissions, negotiations, renewals, amendments, and expansions
  • Identify and locate the correct supply chain, contracting, value analysis, and clinical decision-makers
  • Ensure Regen Lab is included in relevant contract bids
  • Push stalled contracts forward with urgency and persistence
  • Identify alternative pathways and strategic access routes when formally denied
  • Maintain continuous deal momentum until contracts are fully executed

This role requires a strong hunter mentality. Access must be built — not waited on.

2026 Full-Court Press Expansion Strategy

  • Support an aggressive expansion plan to secure maximum facility contracts in 2026
  • Apply relentless follow-up until definitive outcomes are achieved
  • Build multi-threaded engagement strategies within hospital systems
  • Escalate, reposition, and persist when facing barriers
  • Maintain sustained pressure and consistent forward motion toward contract execution

Post-Contract Activation & Utilization

  • Follow up with every physician and key stakeholder post-contract award
  • Drive product utilization and ensure contracts convert into revenue
  • Identify barriers to product implementation

Contract execution without product usage is not considered success. This role owns both access and activation.

REQUIRED WORK ETHIC

  • Extremely strong work ethic
  • Relentless follow-up mentality
  • Comfortable being direct, persistent, and assertive
  • Able to navigate rejection and resistance
  • Strategic thinker capable of identifying non-obvious access routes
  • High urgency and high accountability
  • Thrives in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
  • Ownership mindset with measurable output expectations
  • Stamina, resilience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Fully on-site at Regen Lab’s New Jersey headquarters
  • Not remote or hybrid
  • Candidates must be local or willing to relocate
