Monday, January 31, we were fortunate to have 3 leading figures of the aesthetics world discussing “Medical & Surgical Aesthetics are for Men”. Dr. Sandrine Grept-Locher, Professor Barbara Hersant and Antonia Mariconda, discussed the trends and increasing demands amongst Men for medical and surgical aesthetics. This discussion was led by Laurence Desbordes, journalist specialized in lifestyle, fashion and health.
The 3 international speakers discussed the key social, clinical & market influences, on the increase in male aesthetic demand.
Several techniques were discussed: Alopecia; Treatment of facial wrinkles and scars; correction of eyelids & periorbital bags; penoplasty; & liposuction.
Both Dr’s were able to share their protocol using PRP, according to the areas treated, by background videos
The conversion when men come to consult is high, but more communication and information is required to make them aware of the possibilities. Each shared her tips for better communication with all patients
